Allseating Harmonizes Colors with a Brand New Palette for Poly Lines

May 23, 2016

This fall, Allseating officially launches a new colour palette for its lines built from polyurethane materials, including Tuck, Multiflex, Multistack, Multitek, and Ayr.

“Color, like fabric, is a foundation of how designers express themselves,” says Laura Barski, Allseating’s VP of Marketing. “So we spent the last couple years researching what was being done in Europe and what our customers wanted in order to create updated options for some of our more popular seating lines.”

As part of the development process, Allseating held a two-day Design Council last October, inviting interior designers from all across North America. Those gathered viewed products—several of which will be previewed at this year’s Neocon—in a shortlist of colors and provided feedback to help make a final selection.

The new palette of 14 colors—all of which have in common warm, neutral undertones—was designed so that they can be paired or put into any number of combinations and still work well together. The available colors include: Cove, Sage, Carob, Pacific, Maize, Currant, Autumn, Midnight, Crimson, Cotton, Onyx, Dune, Haze, and Smoke. Subtle spins on essentially organic tones make them safe choices for quality long-used products.

“We’re seeing some of these color combinations on runways right now,” says Barski. “I believe that shows we’ve captured a good balance between being ahead of the trend and providing colors that can be used for seating far into the future.”
