Allseating: Now More Than Just Chairs

January 30, 2011

As of February 1, Allseating officially unveils an exciting expansion to complement its award-winning ergonomic seating program. The new line-up reflects Allseating's new position in the marketplace as a company focused on supporting people in the seated position.

“We're Allseating, but we're so much more than chairs,” explains Gary Neil, president and founder. “By expanding our product portfolio to include monitor arms, keyboard supports, and lighting, we're able to help our clients design flexible work environments that support your every move while you’re in the seated position.”

In the amalgamation, Allseating merges with Anatome, a sister company that until now has operated as a separate entity manufacturing ergonomic work tools.

“The average worker spends about eight hours a day sitting at their desk,” says Neil.  “While the key to creating a comfortable, productive workstation will always start with your chair – it’s those personal work tools that can help promote proper posture all day long.”

The merger with Anatome and rebrand of Allseating follows a string of successes for the company.  For the last two years, Allseating has seen over 30% sales growth when other manufacturers have struggled.  Recent product introductions, specifically the launch of its revolutionary You™ and its Ray™ chairs, have generated plenty of industry excitement.

“When we look at why people like working with us – and like our products – it all comes down to one key value we bring to the table: flexibility.  Whether it’s our highly flexible chair designs, our willingness to collaborate and customize our products based on our clients’ needs, or even our flexible support programs, our customers know that we’ll literally bend over backwards to keep them happy.”

“Bringing Anatome products into the Allseating brand just makes sense at this point in our company's history. It not only gives us more flexibility to provide integrated solutions to clients, but it also enables us to streamline our processes to make the specifying and ordering process even simpler.”

The Allseating logo, marketing materials and website have been updated to reflect the integrated line-up and new brand platform. The iconic Allseating symbol has been refined to become a more dominant player and to emphasize the company’s focus on supporting the seated position.

The Allseating website has also been dramatically overhauled.  “Our site has always generated great feedback in terms of its simple, yet sophisticated specification features,” says Neil.  “Now our site makes it even easier to search, specify and order the seating and personal work tools you need – whether you’re sitting at your desk or on-the-go on your mobile phone.”
